Dear Susan Delamar:

My name is Flamur kukaj and I’m situated at City College of New York, I’m an Undergraduate. My intended major was going to be business and account manager but I switched it up to Engineering because I thought about the benefits engineers have and I also know a lot of stuff. It also comes to the connections I have with people and it’s very possible I can easily find a job for it after college of course. My career goals were to become either a chief engineer or mechanical engineer or petroleum. I know these are some big titles for an engineer but that is what I aim for because like I always say anything is possible and it’s only impossible when you give up. My plan for the future is to make a big impact on my family and support them because my parents aren’t gonna be able to support me if they won’t be working anymore and plus they looked after me all these years and their time are up for that responsibility. I wish everyone in the family is healthy till that point to at least watch me and see that I succeeded in life. I also will like to have my own family of mine and support them with a house and clothes and living essentials of course. I don’t plan on giving up on these goals and these goals won’t give up on me.I mean it would depend on what engineering you will in my case it mostly be chief engineering because that’s the only one I have connections with and some of the things they do is what I learned already with my father because he is a superintendent and basically chief engineers do similar things but they deal more with the fans in the building and etc. Problems will be solved by engineers on standards of machines and they will create machines or either learn how to work with them and most of the problems are already solved by machines in the building or what they use to fix problems in the building. Hopefully, everything will be good in the future and engineering will be one of the majors that will benefit us more. People think money is the good thing about it but benefits play a big role in it as well such as retirement early and getting paid by hours and having sick days and days off with clinical and stuff like that

Sincerely,

Flamur Kukaj
